There are others two companies in the world (ANTEC Solar (Germania) e First Solar (USA)) that are studying and producing CdTe photovoltaic modules.

Anyway our process uses a different technology:

Our technology, developed in the laboratory of the University of Parma, consists in an innovative completely-dry process (no etching or chemical bath is necessary) that makes the production fast, reliable and environmental-friendly. No toxic material is used in the fabrication process : the treatment with cadmium chloride is replaced with a recrystallization process that does not use polluting materials.

Moreover a new type of advanced back-contact is applyied that performs the highest stability for this kind of cells, higher than the one of copper-based contacted devices that have a higher efficiency but a critical stability.
